My new book, Faith with Grit, is now available!

My newest book was just released. Faith with Grit for the Not-Yet Healed is a quest for the kind of faith a spirit needs to live strong. It addresses the question, “I know God can heal me, so why doesn’t he?” That one spiritual issue can cause more hurt than many physical problems combined. If you or a loved one is living with a chronic health issue (and over 40% of the U.S. population is), this book is for you.

Faith with Grit is available now in paperback and ebook at and other online retailers. Order your copy now!

Reader Shares How Stay Strengthened His Spirit

Reader Greg Allen recently sat down with me to share in this video how my book Stay: Why I’m Here, A Spiritual Memoir came at just the right time to lift him out of discouragement. I am incredibly grateful for what God did for Greg, and I am praying he will do it for many others as people read this book. See Greg's story here:

C.S. Lewis Writings on Prayer In this blog post, Jewels from C.S. Lewis on Prayer, I talk about two books from C.S. Lewis that helped open my understanding of how prayer actually works, and how that makes a difference to the way I pray.

The Power to Heal by Francis MacNutt I’m excited to recommend this book, because it has produced a sea change in my thinking about prayer for healing, especially of chronic health problems and physical conditions I didn’t previously think of as being healable. I talk more about it in this blog post

Judith MacNutt Video on Healing In this YouTube video, Judith MacNutt of Christian Healing Ministries introduces the 4 types of healing (physical, spiritual, inner healing, and deliverance). It’s an excellent overview video with good insights, Scripture, captivating stories, and plenty of humor.

Parting Words

I'm so grateful to God for what he has already done through Faith with Grit and Stay, and for what he is going to do. God has made me realize that these books are specific spiritual weapons, forged to free people who are suffering physically and spiritually. They're not playing, because there's a war going on for our faith.

I hope you will get them, read them, have your spirit strengthened, and give them to those who need them.
