Hi ,

Occasionally someone will ask me if I'd be willing to share my tango playlist with them. My answer is:

"Yes, but I'm just not sure what you're asking.  Do you mean just my song titles, or do you actually want my music files. And if you want my music files, how would I do that and what are the ethical and legal aspects of it?"

So, as you can see, I'm little confused about this topic and that's why I'm asking for your help. Specifically:

  1. How does one share music files?
  2. What are the legal and ethical issues involved in sharing music files?
  3. Is there already a place somewhere to get tango playlists (either just the titles, or the actual files)?
  4. Should I set up a kind of clearing house for playlist sharing on my web? And how would I do that? (Or is that just asking for too much work and trouble?)
  5. Are you interested in obtaining or sharing tango playlists?

To respond, please go to Sharing Tango Playlists and type your answers at the bottom--that way everyone can read and learn. Also, in your response, please be clear if you are talking about just sharing titles, or are you talking about sharing the actual music files.   thanks....clay
