A listing of upcoming mediated (+ 'live'!) NSW folk events for you to enjoy during your isolation View in browser
Events 14-20 September

Although there are still relatively few 'live' folk events taking place, there are plenty of 'mediated' experiences for us to enjoy including community radio and more active Zoom on-line meetings/sing-alongs. Do let us know of other such events that we should be telling people about. - Julie

Please Note - 'Live' events are in green.

Adder's Fork

The band members of Adder's Fork enjoy nothing more than sitting down to have tea and cake together . . . oh, and they enjoy playing music together too. They are passionate about songs which tell stories, conjuring rich tales of witches, kings, whales and evil water spirits and enjoying the response from their audience in the process.

The band is based on the north shore of Sydney and they regularly play at festivals, markets and libraries. Their music is inspired by the Celtic folk tradition but they also like to weave in classical and rock elements. They write a lot of their own songs but also play familiar, traditional tunes. You can find them on Facebook, @adderfork, although, confusingly, there is another performer using that name from Austria but playing Gothic Metal!

Please book early as numbers will be limited to 30 in total. Register your place with our bookings coordinator, Bob,
