NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER Find Your Next Favourite Read Missed the fireworks this year. In New Zealand there's a strong campaign to ban them and our community's shops didn't sell any for November the 5th celebrations and the primary school didn't hold their usual community display thanks to a powerful bit of yelling form a few parents. Mind you the fireworks here are not a patch on the magnificent ones in Japan. I was always in awe of the men and women who held those big bamboo tubes full of gunpowder and chemicals which, when ignited, whooshed up a glorious riot of noisy jets of fiery lights, and dangerous sparks, the glorious hanabi. A wide range of books for you this month. Mostly free and many of them worth a read. I'm testing the waters so to speak with my novella. You'll find it at Amazon just now. When the print copies finally arrive I'll have a big book launch in our library and let you know with a 99 cent offer for you.
