RIIVA releases an appealing electro-pop tune, entitled, “Madonna”
RIIVA is an up-and-coming German-American singer-songwriter. Not too long ago, she released an appealing electro-pop tune, entitled, “Madonna,” which contains a four on the floor beat and a rough and bouncy bassline underneath it. The song tells RIIVA’s story about projecting unfulfilled wishes onto someone you don’t know. Her sensual and confident vocals maintain her remarkable mystical R’n’B/Pop sound, although the house-driven beat may suggest otherwise.
“I wrote ‘Madonna’ after I met someone who literally thought I was the love of his life. Just ‘cause I was a little different than the people he usually hangs out with. He projected everything he longs for in a woman onto me as if I could make all his problems go away or fulfill his desires. First of all, I didn’t send any signals, and second of all, I’m far from that perfect person he thought I would be. Still, it was kinda cute ‘cause he was a nice and decent guy. He just seemed so innocent and naive but he definitely couldn’t read me or the room.” – RIIVA explained
‘Madonna’ is the title track of RIIVA’s debut mini-EP, the first part of her three-part EP saga. The short project also features the songs, “HTML” and “Pity Party.” Furthermore, “Madonna” EP is the first step on RIIVA’s way to her true inner self. Getting more intimate with each EP, she goes from superficial desires to an existential crisis to thoughts and feelings buried deep underneath the surface.

Elise Hayes releases an enticing love ballad, entitled, “I Believe In Magic”
Elise Hayes is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Not too long ago, she released an enticing love ballad, entitled, “I Believe In Magic.” The song is one of Hayes’s most heartfelt releases yet. The single is geared toward listeners who are skeptical about romance but melted down by the power of connection.
“I like to say that ‘I Believe In Magic’ is a love song for the skeptical. In one form or another, most of us are completely taken by surprise at love. No matter how logical or grounded you may be, it’s hard to deny that it just may be our most tangible form of magic. It changes us. My journey in the music industry has been quite eclectic. I’ve accomplished many things that I’m incredibly proud of, and a lot of that has to do with the many hats I’ve been able to wear. Whether it’s been producing, touring, or recording, I’ve really diversified myself as a musician which reaches back to my artistry in a really beautiful way. I feel more empowered as an artist because of the skills I’ve picked up along the way.” – Elise Hayes explained
Hayes has many songs featured on TV shows such as ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, The CW’s Charmed, and MTV’s Siesta Key. Also, she has written songs for other prominent artists like Lucie Silvas and Jill Andrews. And she has toured the country as a professional keyboard player and background singer (Carly Pearce).
