Music Monday Celebration Spotlight - Niagara

We are featuring some incredible Music Monday 2018 celebrations scheduled for this year’s celebration on Monday, May 7th. This month, the spotlight is on the Niagara Music Monday celebration with the Niagara Symphony Orchestra.

The most fun you will ever have with a symphony orchestra!  Students tell the orchestra what parts to play in our interactive “Compose Yourself” presentation. Then, watch Niagara Symphony Orchestra musicians have a blast as they let all their sillies out in Papa Mozart’s Toy Symphony.  It’s downright preposterous what they use to make music – you’ll never look at an egg beater the same way again!  Underneath all the fun is a valuable exploration of orchestral instrument families and symphonic construction. Join the NSO for a unique blend of education and entertainment, the ideal way to celebrate Music Monday. Students will sing the Music Monday Anthem, Sing It Together and have a lot of fun!

Join us on Monday, May 2018 from 10:30am - 12:00pm at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre(250 St Paul Street, downtown St. Catharines). For more information, click here.
