A listing of upcoming mediated (+ 'live'!) NSW folk events for you to enjoy during your isolation View in browser
Events 17-23 August

Although there are still few 'live' folk events taking place, there are plenty of 'mediated' experiences for us to enjoy including community radio and more active Zoom on-line meetings/sing-alongs. Do let us know of other such events that we should be telling people about. Please send Wayne any items for the week covering 24-30 August, as I will be away for a few days. - Julie

Please Note - New/seriously revised items are in yellow and this week's calendar, starting with Monday 17th August, is at the bottom.

More People Have Songs. Miguel Heatwole has recently brought to fruition a sequel to a double album he produced 20 years ago called The People Have Songs. This was a collection of over forty folk singers (mostly from Sydney) and was headed by the title track, an original song of mine about the joy and inclusiveness of a traditional folk singing session. The new album is a single disk, and is called More People Have Songs.

It isn't yet available for download, but $26.10 will get a copy of it, with its 8 page lyrics booklet, delivered to your mailbox.  Miguel's bank details are:
