NEW RELEASE—CLICK THE COVER TO READ AN EXCERPT

Former pre-school teacher Ava Lewis arrives in New York City determined to accomplish two things: (1) become an attorney child advocate and (2) prove to her family that while she might be the youngest child by far, she’s not a child who always needs a helping hand. She’s on her way with provisional acceptance to NYU’s law school. All she needs to do is complete a summer program for students who have a non-law bachelor degree.

After his broken engagement, Nick Jansen accepted his mother’s contention that he’s like her—not cut out for any serious relationship. To start over, Nick leaves his position in mergers and acquisitions at a large communications corporation to open his own business consulting firm. One of his first jobs—structuring a sale of his uncle’s athletic clubs and a nonprofit for city teens—brings Nick to New York City. Thanks to his mother’s obstruction, this is Nick’s first personal contact with his deceased father’s family in years.

Enter five-year-old twins who are unexpectedly left with Nick while their guardian is on a month-long honeymoon. The twins quickly worm their way into Ava’s heart, and she reluctantly agrees to help Nick by caring for them afternoons after her law class. Fire simmers under the surface of Nick and Ava’s friendship until neither can resist the pull to become a couple, a foursome with the twins.

That is, until responding to an accident involving one of the twins forces Ava to jeopardize her law school admission. Nick makes it worse by using his uncle’s connections to “rescue” her. Ava thought Nick was different, that he understood her need to solve her own problems. He believes he was doing what family is supposed to do.

Have they hit an impassible detour? Or is Ava and Nick’s budding love strong enough to repair their road to happiness?

If you haven't yet read my first No Brides Club book, Ava's older sister Kate's story, pick it up today.

Fate puts Kate Lewis and former classmate Jon Smith in direct competition for a Wall Street job. The sparks of attraction that fly are the last thing they need. Too bad fate isn’t done with them yet. A big city twist on the classic second chance romance theme.

All the No Brides books are standalone stories that can each be read separately. But once you've read one, I think you'll want to come back for more.

AND IF YOU MISSED IT LAST MONTH

Emilia Sullivan has a thriving business as one of the top wedding planners in New York City. And she gets to go to work each day with her best friend and twin sister, Lizzy. Life should be good, and it was, but the emptiness she felt at losing her true love just wouldn’t go away. In addition to that, she’s given up on her dream to perform on Broadway. However, she’s made the best of what she’s got. That is until her high school sweetheart walks back into her life, making her question her choices and wonder if opening the door to love would be worth the risk to her heart.

Chase Christianson never got over his first love. The promise he made to her has haunted him. Even being one thousand miles away hasn’t helped erase her memory. As a successful chef, he moves back to New York to open a catering business, never thinking he’d run into her. But fate has a different plan when he agrees to cater the wedding of one of her best clients.

Will Emilia and Chase get a second chance at love? Or do their wounds run too deep? Forced to work together for the sake of their careers, can these two come to terms with the past and rekindle a love that bloomed over a decade ago? Fans of second-chance romance will swoon over this story of forgiveness and a belief that love can be resurrected against all odds.

Madison Creek, Where Northern Hospitality Meets Southern Charm

There's a special something drawing folks to the small Michigan lakeside town of Madison Creek. Maybe it's the chance to see one's dreams become reality. Or perhaps the comfort of a strong community striving to rebuild itself.

Whether they come seeking a home or dreams, there is one thing they've all found... Love and belonging. And you may, too.

INCLUDED IN THIS COLLECTION
Secretly In Love
Sage Dolan glances at Nikolai Prater and inwardly regretted the high school pact she’d made with him and her BFF, Moi Tamsyn, that the three of them would be friends forever. Nothing but friends. Yet, when Nikolai returned from his mission trip last year, Sage’s feelings for him exploded and the pact gets harder and harder to keep.

Then on April fool’s day, she receives a letter from a secret admirer. A joke from her twin siblings.

Nikolai’s life changed after the mission trip. One thing he has to face is his feelings for Sage. Pact or no pact, he needs to let her know how he feels. Overhearing Sage and Moi talk about how they wished they received real love letters, Nikolai comes up with the perfect solution. He sends her an anonymous love letter, but instead of love, he reaps the wild, whirlwind of Sage who is already angry about being made a fool of once and won’t stand for being the fool twice.

Candy Lane Christmas
The Sweetness of Starting Over
Candyce Barkley tosses the fake engagement ring, the last token of her sordid past, out the window onto the highway 35N. No looking back. No regrets. Today is the beginning of a new start, a second chance to make something of her messed-up life. Her old hometown of Madison Creek is going to love her plans to open a Candy store. If, that is, they can overlook her history for troublemaking. If her family and townsfolk can forgive and forget, then her candy shop might stand a chance at succeeding.

Finley Quinn only has a few miles left before he reaches his stagnant life in Madison Creek. He’s fallen into a rut that he can’t seem to climb out of. A quick stop at the coffee shop results in his bumping into a flash from the past with pink hair and candy tattoos. He hadn’t seen Candy Bar Barkley since he admitted to her that he loved her. Instead of returning his feelings, she high-tailed out of town. When they end up sharing a ride back home, he figures out that his heart hadn’t been stuck all this time, it had followed the wild girl and she still had it, whether she knew it or not.

The Heart Collector
Is Love Strong Enough to Mend Broken Hearts?
Sara stared at the little heart-shaped pebble. She scooped it up and placed it in her box to add to her collection. These hearts were safe and not easily broken. Like Sara’s after losing her husband. Fear rules her heart now.
Fear of loss.
Of more brokenness.
Yes, the little stone hearts are safe.

Daniel stared at the old note he’d found cleaning out his desk. Long ago, his childhood sweetheart had made a list of what she expected in a husband. He crumpled the paper. Years ago, he’d set out to meet those requirements only to lose Sara to another.

Now she’s back in Madison Creek, broken and in need of help along with her son. Daniel turned his thoughts away from her. She’d broken his heart once before. He wouldn’t let it happen again.

A story of second chances rising from the ashes of fear and loss.

If you enjoy these three stories, there’s more!
