How to book a slot at the HWRC

From Wednesday, 20 May, the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) will partially re-open for pre-booked, essential visits only.

The trial online booking system will be live for bookings from 9am on Tuesday, 19 May.

You must book a slot to visit the HWRC.

Before booking, please visit our website to find out about a number of restrictions and changes that will be in place. These restrictions are designed to keep you and our staff safe, reduce the build up of traffic in the local area and ensure that we can continue to run our other vital services that operate from the site.

The HWRC will be open to residents in the Borough of Swindon only and visitors will be required to bring a proof of address.

Anyone who turns up without a booking or their proof of address will not be allowed on site.

The HWRC will re-open for essential visits only.

An essential visit is for waste that cannot be stored safely at home or disposed of through other legitimate routes, such as, normal bin collections and the other collection services we provide.

If you can store your waste, please continue to do so until the HWRC opens as normal.
