What she wants most in life is to move away to a better location, where a new life, apartment, and maybe a boyfriend awaits her arrival.

I wasn’t connected to that anymore. It all started to feel so mundane. I wanted to get out of that as soon as I realized that wasn’t what I wanted for my life.” – Kaya Stewart explained

TiKA unveils a lovely audiovisual for her “Soothing Love” single
TiKA is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Montreal, Canada. Not too long ago, she released a lovely audiovisual for her “Soothing Love” single, which serves as a wonderful presentation of what listeners can expect to hear on “TiKA’s upcoming debut album, entitled, “Anywhere But Here.” The project is available everywhere on February 26, 2021.
“For us to really accept ourselves, we need to be seen Otherwise our dreams of being included in these spaces remain just that: a fantasy. Also, where else can we be most free than in Africa, where we are most seen? To me, that’s the destination outside of the fantasy. ‘Soothing Love’ is an ode to Black fantasy, Black femininity, and Black sensuality. Themes that are not common, particularly in Canadian media which lacks examples of what that looks like.” – TiKA stated
The NASKADEMINI-directed video was inspired to create the image of Blackness in spaces that have historically excluded the Black experience. Delving into the world of Black fantasy is one of the more important themes that TiKA loves to explore in her art. Also, in her cinematic pursuits.

Hayley Mary unveils an appealing music video for “The Chain [Nude version]” single
Hayley Mary (best known as the frontwoman of The Jezabel) is an indie-pop star from Australia. Not too long ago, she released an appealing music video for “The Chain [Nude version]” single via Melbourne label, I OH YOU.
“I sat in my apartment in Melbourne staring at my suitcase. I picked up the guitar and wrote what felt like, at the time, the saddest song I’d ever written. Sonically and melodically, however, it’s one of my most uplifting. It was a feeling I’d had before akin to depression. That there is some kind of invisible magic chain holding me to the earth and keeping me from moving forward or climbing higher. Which, if I pull too hard on or try to escape from, seems to have devastating consequences behind or beneath me. But this time it was an odd sort of happy-sad. Because for the first time I felt like the chain not only held me down, it connected me to everything and everyone else. For a brief moment, everyone could see it and feel it at exactly the same time.” – Hayley Mary
“The Chain [Nude version]” transcends a pure, healing power as the whirlwind year draws to an end. Recorded and produced by Johnny Took, the tranquil piano, and string-laden track showcase Hayley Mary’s lyricism and intricate melody, giving a poignant voice to the emotional disorientation of 2020.

Lola Lennox releases a nostalgic indie-pop tune, entitled, “La La Love Me”
“I tend to daydream. As a songwriter, I’m drawn to stepping out of the world around me to fantasize about situations that are intoxicating and immersive. Like the way, a certain smell can take you back to a memory from childhood. Also, I like to indulge in exploring states of being that whisk you away. We have all experienced the phase between attraction and commitment, where love has not yet been expressed. And the uncertainty of the future makes you flip between bliss and anxiety, via a chemical rush. ‘La La Love Me’ captures the fervent wishes for love, real love. The kind that makes each day feel like a celebration and conjures an appetite for life.” – Lola Lennox explained
