In this newsletter I want to bring you some valuable knowledge for you to use in your own sustainable investments.

I watched the press conference online from the EU where they announced that gas and nuclear are sustainable enough to be in the taxonomy - I've written about that and Sustainify's recommendations.

I also took a closer look at Nasdaq and their new rules on diversity for the listed companies on their exchanges - you might or might not be surprised at what I found.

And lastly I'll tip you on an interesting documentary that you might want to watch.

What does that mean for us sustainable investors?

It means that we have to look carefully for investment products such as ETFs to see if there is gas and/or nuclear in there.

The EU requires that it is disclosed - so we investors can choose if we want to invest or avoid gas and/or nuclear.

PRACTISE WHAT YOU PREACH

Nasdaq's diversity rules

Nasdaq have set some new rules for their listed companies on diversity - now companies have to report on their numbers or explain themselves.

Some picked up the news and looked at the numbers on the companies on Nasdaq's exchanges and found that Nasdaq is setting the bar low on gender diversity, since most of the listed companies on their exchanges already live up to it.

But we took a really quick look at Nasdaq's own board of directors and executive management - see for your self what we found.

DOCUMENTARY TO WATCH

Vikings v. Wall Street

This documentary from 2019 is about a Norwegian investment Fund that is full of money to invest on behalf of the Norwegian state and the people of Norway. And they are looking to do sustainable and responsible investments because they have a clear idea of what they want to make a profit on - but the twist is, they made their money on oil.
