Dear one6G community,

As this is our first newsletter in 2022, we would like to start by wishing you all a productive new year.

This time last year, we were just embarking on the one6G journey… So much has happened since, and we are so grateful. 2021 has been a truly exciting year for our association: we welcomed nearly 50 new members, released our first position paper, provided a critical contribution to the ITU-R's “IMT Vision for 2030 and Beyond”, and organized the first edition of one6G Summit.

We kicked off 2022 with new energy and many exciting opportunities. We are looking forward to evolving, testing, and promoting the next-generation cellular and wireless technology-based communications solutions with the support of our members. Our vision remains the same: we will put all our efforts into creating a future where 6G technologies and solutions allow to unleash the potential of smart connectivity for a secure, resilient, and sustainable development of our society, and we will achieve that together with you!

EuCAP 2022 - 16th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (March 27 – April 2022)

Europe’s flagship conference on antennas and propagation offering a unique venue to strengthen the links between the scientific antennas and propagation communities in areas related to 5G, space applications, or future communication systems. one6G will organize a session entitled “one6G view on propagation models/measurements and antennas for next generation MIMO systems,” hosted by Rahim Tafazolli (5G/6GIC, UK).

EEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (10-13 April 2022)

IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) is the world premier wireless event that brings together industry professionals, academics, and individuals from government agencies and other institutions to exchange information and ideas on wireless advancement communications and networking technology.

EuCNC 2022 (7-10 June 2022)

The EuCNC focuses on all aspects of telecommunications ranging from 5G deployment and mobile IoT to 6G exploration and future communications systems and networks, including experimentation and testbeds, and applications and services.

one6G is a 6G Innovation Hub bringing together stakeholders from various research, innovation and technological areas and vertical domains and a trusted destination for relevant news, events, and latest research on technological innovation on the journey towards 6G.
