Seriously – I spend ages looking for my next read, and a lot of what I start I just don’t finish. Loads of books begin well and then dwindle to rubbish, or get boring, or simply go in a different direction to what I was hoping.

Actually, while we’re talking about this – what puts you off a book?

Too much romance? Too little romance? Violence? An overpowered main protagonist?

Personally, I hate it when someone does something I consider blatantly stupid. Splitting up to search a haunted house. Or not running like crazy when the walls start to bleed. You know what I mean – stupidity for effect. It’s just lazy writing.
