Patch Tonight and Sale!

Tonight of course is patch night and this week's patch will move the 150% rotating experience bonus back to the Fan Area!  If you are one of the awesome Whovians who have unlocked the Fan Area in the game we hope you enjoy the experience bonus for the next 7 days!

ALSO, we will be doing one of our bonus time crystal sales tonight across all platforms tonight.  So if you haven't unlocked the Fan Area, it's a great time to do it.  All purchases of at least a Handful of Time Crystals will (in addition to unlocking the Fan Area) grant you some extra time crystals!  Buy 6, get 1 free.  Buy 13, get 2 free.  Buy 27, get 4 free.  Buy 70, get 10 free.  Buy 170, get 30 free.  This sale will last for 7 days until the next patch!   Just an extra little thank you for supporting the game!

2.6 of Doctor Who: Legacy

We are pleased to report that the 2.6 version of Doctor Who: Legacy was approved by iOS for the Appstore and that the technical issues which were slowing us down on Android seem to have been fixed as well.  We hope to get the new client pushed out to you this week! This paves the way for the imminent release of all sorts of great new content!

And the new client, while including technical upgrades like the latest version of Unity, will also include the promised "One Turn Buff" system! Once you complete a level you get a bonus which is good for the next level you play. Once you beat that next level, the old buff vanishes and is replaced with a new one. Once you quit out of the game your current OTB vanishes, and is replaced with a new one when you complete your first level after launching the game again.

There are 5 types of buffs available, and each has a normal and (rarer) more powerful version:

1- Increases the attack values of your team

2- Increases the heal values of your team

3- Increases the health of your team

4- Increases the chance for items to drop

5- Rare: All of the above in one!

"We really enjoyed playing Doctor Who: Legacy: the game play is solid, and the addition of familiar characters and monsters makes us smile. There are in-app purchases, but we have yet to hit a point where we are forced to stop playing until a timer ticks down or we pony up some money. Buying Time Crystals will make the acquisition of some characters or outfits for characters faster, but we were able to earn enough crystals to buy the character we really wanted, Osgood, in a little under an hour. There's also a chance character and outfits will be picked up randomly when you successfully complete and 'episode.'"
