FEBRUARY UPDATE

With the cool temperatures and regular snowfall, our trails are in fantastic shape right now. It's a great time to send a "shout out" of gratitude to the groomers and the lodge crew!

FAMILY DAY WEEKEND

Thanks to everyone that organized, volunteered and participated in our Family Day. We offered up free trail passes and had some great self guided activities.

The 2nd Annual mascot race also took place on Sunday.

Special thanks to the Free Press for covering the event. The support and coverage from our local paper has been outstanding this season. Thanks to the BC Government for the grant.

SKI WAXING
TUTORIAL VIDEO

Our beloved Coach and board member, Gary Carlson has been teaching this workshop every winter for many years. This year we had to cancel it and decided to make a video about how to wax your skis.

Learn how to properly wax your skis for a variety of conditions. There is also a great blog post you can read that lists all the equipment.

Did You Know: We sell wax and some basic tools at the lodge?

BINGO BELLS

Big Brothers and Sisters are teaming up with 100 Mile Nordics in this unique fundraiser! Our Forest Bell trails and the Blue Bears Paw snowshoe trail are the setting for a one of a kind ‘Bingo Scavenger Hunt’.

Participants can donate or register here. You can choose to snowshoe or to ski. At the Nordic Lodge you will pick up your bingo card and stickers and will receive a 10% discount on your trail pass and your rentals.

As each of your scavenger hunt items is found, a sticker of that item is placed on the bingo card. Mini prizes await at the Lodge upon your return with your card. Your name will go in for draw prizes when you register and when you send in pictures of your adventure! This opportunity will be available throughout the ski season. BINGO! Everybody wins!

We want to learn from our members and day-pass visitors, especially those that are fairly new. There are great draw prizes up for grabs.

Over 700 people have responded to date. This information is helpful to multiple levels of decision makers in the Nordic scene.

BOOK YOUR LESSON TODAY!

Thanks to coach Brent Ehlers for stepping up and offering Adult private lessons this winter. Brent tells us he really enjoys showing new people our sport or helping folks improve their skills. Brent says about 10 people have signed up this season for lessons. Are you next?

The rate is $40 an hour. You can bring a second person from your household for $70/hr (two people).
Please note that he typically require at least 24 hours notice to book a lesson.
