CBS News: FSU research says nagging kids about weight may backfire

CBS News featured new research by Angelina Sutin, assistant professor at FSU's College of Medicine, that suggests when parents believe their children are overweight -- regardless of whether they are or not -- those kids are likely to gain weight. "Parental perceptions may be something of a self-fulfilling prophecy," Sutin said. 2016 Spring Commencement

International weather expert Marshall Shepherd, Gargiulo Vineyards owner Jeff Gargiulo and MBF Healthcare Partners chairman Miguel Fernandez will give the commencement addresses for FSU’s three spring commencement ceremonies. Shepherd will speak at 7:30 p.m. for the April 29 address, Gargiulo will give the 9 a.m. April 30 address and Fernandez will speak at the 2 p.m. April 30 ceremony. Watch live!
