Announcing GPFS Storage System

We are pleased to announce that we are upgrading our parallel storage systems for the HPC and Spear systems. We have procured a new GPFS file system, and over the next several months, we will migrate all user and research data from Panasas and Lustre to this new system. After the consolidation, we will retire the older systems.

Submit Script Generator

We've just released a brand new tool on our website to make it easier to build Slurm Submit Scripts for HPC Jobs.  This tool was developed as a volunteer effort by Scientific Computing Student Alex Townsend.

Data Center Reliability Upgrades

You may have been affected by our ongoing HPC maintenance this past Fall.  This work is part of a greater effort to consolidate our infrastructure in the Sliger Data Cente and to improve the overall reliability of our systems infrastructure.
