The Barry Taylor Quote Poll

For the first time ever the Official Fansite is conducting a poll to find out which Barry Taylor quote is the greatest of all time. Now, many fans will probably have a good idea of what the #1 Quote will be, but with the votes now coming in, its closer than you might think! 

The Poll will be open until mid August, so you have plenty of time to cast your vote.

Moxey’s Cafe – We’re in Construction, Not Demolition!

Back in April, demolition started on Moxey's Cafe as featured in Series 2. Many fans will instantly recognise this location, and Tim was on hand and had permission from the demolition company to be there while it was knocked down. This location only featured in a small scene, but thankfully we have a recorded version of the interior and exterior for future generations of fans.

Team member Andy Patrick caught up with the gorgeous Lesley Saint John who played Ally Fraser’s love interest ‘Vicky’ in Series 2 earlier this week at a VIP preview of a TV special; ‘A Blackpool Big Band Boogie: Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra’.

The special - due to be aired on BBC4, Sunday 26^th July at 9pm - was produced by the legendary award winning north-east Director and Producer ‘Geoff Wonfor’ who may perhaps be better know to Auf Wiedersehen, Pet fans for producing the biyearly ever popular ‘Sunday for Sammy’ charity DVD collection.

Will Davies - Central Crew On Location

Will Davies was a Central Crew member on Series 2 of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and thankfully for us, he had his camera with him on location. Cameras and picture taking was strictly forbidden by director Roger Bamford, but it seems Will managed to 'carefully' take some great pictures of the lads and crew during filming. If any of you were at the 2014 Fan Gathering you will have had the chance to hear Will's behind the scenes talk on what it was like to be part of this hugely succesful second series.

The Shop is filling up with merchandise now, and the latest 'Classic White T-Shirt' has become a firm favourite among fans!
