So Mike says to me . . .

I’ve come up with a special Thanksgiving offer and all it needs is “a little of that Crowther magic.”

Gee whiz! I mean, he sets out to clear some seasonal space (for SKELETON CREW, A MAN LIES DREAMING, 13 DAYS BY SUNSET BEACH, 20TH CENTURY GHOSTS, HUMAN PIECES, BORROWED TIME, ELLISON WONDERLAND yada yada yada) but that isn’t enough. No sir: he wants magic to boot! Well, OK . . . I mean, who can blame him. He’s certainly come up with a neato-neato special offer so if you haven’t already read these babies then now’s your chance . . . whether it’s Black Friday, Mauve Monday, Tangerine Tuesday, Sienna Saturday, Wisteria Wednesday, Fuchsia Friday or whatever. But please do bear in mind that some of these essentially pre-2013 titles are in pretty short supply, so act fast—in fact, do it now before the Thanksgiving dinner is served. That way you’ll have earned it . . . Big Time! Here are the details.

For a limited time only . . .

We’re giving a FREE BUNDLE OF BOOKS with every order placed—you just pay the postage. The only proviso is that the book you are ordering is in stock, so no FORTHCOMING TITLES. But it could be a regular PS title, a DIP paperback, a PS ARTBOOK, or even something from our OTHER PUBLISHERS section.

There are two bundles to choose from: THREE SMALL BOOKS (novellas/poetry/chapbooks), or THREE BIG BOOKS (novels/collections/anthologies). Just select the bundle you want from our SPECIAL OFFERS section and it will be discounted to zero when you check out.

And even if you can’t run to a full priced book this week, you can still take advantage of either of the bundles as a one off purchase, £6.66 for the three-book novella bundle, or £9.99 for the three-big book bundle. What better way to grab a seasonal gift or two (or three, or even four, you bargain-hunters you!) and still have change from a tenner with each purchase. Sheesh, are we crazy? Maybe so, but it’s Thanksgiving, right?

(offer ends Monday 30th November 9 a.m. UK time)

So, to celebrate it in true kickass PS style . . .

Our limited Thanksgiving Novella offer includes three books of our choosing from the list below. And stay cool, Chesley—we’ll guarantee you get three different titles (or six if you buy two bundles, nine if you go for three and so on), and with some of those on offer being signed editions, this is quite probably the best value bargain bundle Mike has come up with for some time. Hey, do the math: more than £40 worth of books for just £6.66 plus a one off postage charge. Yikes!

Slade House by David Mitchell "like Stephen King in a fever"—GUARDIAN

Okay, that’s the lot this time out save for a couple of things. First off, we managed to pick up some more copies of the signed and slipcased edition of David Mitchell’s SLADE HOUSE which went like-- well . . . which went like signed and slipcased copies of a new David Mitchell haunted house novel.

We got ten more . . .

. . . but I’m hanging onto one for myself this time seeing as how the mailing room folks sold my original copy before I’d even removed the cellophane (they get out of hospital next week) and I’m not sure we’ll be able to get any more so don’t miss the chance.

We’ve also got 13 signed and slipcased copies of the limited edition of David’s THE BONE CLOCKS. (Gee, life just keeps on getting’ better, don’t it!)--both titles are £50 apiece.

And absolutely finally . . .

I just had to mention this (even though it’s a ways off). I’ve been asked to join up with Bill Bridges, Elizabeth Hand, George R.R.Martin and Chuck Wendig as a Guest of Honor at the 2017 StokerCon at the Queen Mary Hotel in Long Beach CA on 27 April through to 30 April. But don’t worry: I won’t let you forget—face it, I’ll be reminding you every week for the next 15 months or so. (Jeez, Pete . . . If I just show you my plane ticket will ya quit telling me about it already?)

Okay, that’s the lot. I’m writing this at 5:30 am (I got up at a little before 3 cos I couldn’t sleep) and I’m now hankering for a piece of toast and a cup of tea. I hope you and your friends and loved ones have a wonderful Thanksgiving: we sure will, here in the musty rooms off the dank cobbled walkways of PS Towers. And when the weekend dawns bright, make sure it’s a goodie. Let’s all of us look after each other in these dippy nutty times—and happy HAPPY reading!

Pete
