HG & PG Motor Endorsements
The requirement for a PG or HG Motor Endorsement has now been amended by the Committee of Management, due to a plethora of new motored pilots breaching Operations Manual regulations, CAO exemptions and Airspace requirements.
This will also bring these operations in line with expected future developments.
From today's date forward:
A PG or HG Pilot must hold valid Intermediate Certification and a VHF Radio Endorsement, for a Motor Endorsement to be issued to them.
All 3 ratings can be trained for simultaneously.
Supervised Certification must be achieved prior to the commencement of Motor Endorsement training.
All Motor training must be done under the direct supervision of an appropriately rated SSO or Instructor.
Students cannot self train.
All examinations must be done under the direct supervision of an appropriately rated SSO or Instructor.
(As is the case for all other HGFA examinations...)
We request that any of your past students, who do not have the requirements indicated above, are strongly encouraged to gain them as soon as possible.
Airwaves is intended to communicate pertinent notices in-between the printed magazine editions.
If anyone has any suggestions or comments about 'Airwaves' then please send them through to: email@example.com.
This has been a quite serious sounding Airwaves issue, and it is serious. The HGFA has serious issues at hand; but, on behalf of the HGFA Board and Office - please enjoy your flying, stay safe, stay legal, play nice and have fun!
Questions and or feedback regarding HGFA Operations or Management are welcome! Please feel free to email the HGFA Committee (firstname.lastname@example.org).
