What has been happening at Quest!?

Time is flying by with all our students firmly settled in. As usual there has been plenty happening in and around Quest, It is great to see the progress the students are making already in such a short period of time. Lloyd's Trip

This month our Business Apprentice Programme and Executive Personal Assistant students had a fantastic tour around the famous 1 Lime Street Lloyd's office. This helped gain a flavour for the insurance sector, with Lloyds being a leader in the insurance market there is no better place to learn about this industry.

Hopefully this has helped the students take one step further in knowing if the insurance market is for them for their prospective career paths.

Round up-Cakes for sale!

Our Executive PA students have been beavering away in the kitchen and have created the yummiest of cakes! This was all in aid for the charity Action For A-T - what a great fundraiser. Well done to our Executive PAs, the cakes went down a hit!

Guest Speakers

This past month we have had a number of guest speakers who have come in to speak to our Quest students; Zoe Innes from Cluttons, Ben Toocaram and Heather Steele from Marsh and Parsons, Justin Hobday and Kentry Brumant from Carmichael Fisher and Bozena Ilencikova from Buy-Time.

Such a great insight for our students to help gain greater insight into the different industries out there and to see what takes their fancy!

M&G Investments

M&G Investments hosted an Investment Insight Evening.

Our students gained greater insight in the Investment industry, with M&G being one of the UK’s largest and longest established investment houses. Students learnt about M&G's apprenticeship and school leaver programme.

What a great inspiring evening.

Hindleap

Our Professional Diploma PLUS students went on a fun day out to Hindleap. This forms part of the ILM award (Institute of Leadership and Management), of which students here at Quest are completing.

The students completed a number of challenges from high ropes, obstacle course and team building challenges.

Hopefully this helped our PD+ students improve their confidence, help develop leadership skills and improved team work!

Mentor Evenings

Quest hosted mentor evenings over the last couple of weeks. Such a lovely way for our Trainers and Alumni team to network and socialise with the students and their parents over a glass of wine.

A great opportunity to ask any questions, but more importantly to put a face to a name!

A huge congratulations to our Alumni who have been offered jobs this month; Charlotte Ubi , Katarin Donkin, Polly Ballantine, Lil Van Lennep, Sam Gilligan, Naomi Cunningham and Victoria Filkins. We look forward to hearing all about it!
