METIDA Law Firm of Reda Zaboliene changes its status

Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to inform you that METIDA Law Firm of Reda Zaboliene is reinforcing its management team: longtime METIDA attorneys-at-law Vilius Martisius and Erikas Saukalas have been nominated partners. Consequently, the law firm changes its name and status. As of 1 April 2016 METIDA Law Firm of Reda Zaboliene becomes Professional Law Partnership METIDA Law Firm Zaboliene and Partners. The changes will further strengthen and expand our portfolio of legal services for business as well as our intellectual property practice team led by our Associated Partners Jacekas Antulis and Violeta Sutkiene who have extensive experience in the protection of trademarks and inventions.

Vilius Martisius has 19 years of experience in business law, implementing different business acquisition and disposal projects, advising clients on real estate, securities and other property transactions, representing the interests of shareholders and representing the interests of clients in civil, labour, tax and family law matters. Martisius has been practising law since 2003. In 2009 he acquired the right to provide bankruptcy administration services and in 2012 he was entered onto the list of arbitrators recommended by the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration.

Erikas Saukalas has 16 years of experience in law. He specialises in intellectual property law, contract law, company law, competition law, IT and media law. Saukalas is the Head of the International Relations Division at METIDA. He did a traineeship with the European Commission and represented the interests of Lithuania in the European Union and international organisations. Saukalas is a member of the Lithuanian Bar Association since 2010 and a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) since 2012. In 2015 he was entered onto the list of Court Mediators.
