Q:Do you need to attend all five days?
A:No you do not as no session is a prerequisite of the other.
Q: What do I receive for each session?
A: Curriculum module using the 5E method & all supporting materials:
- Wind (SKY-Z Limitless, STEM Plus Playoff, & Savonius)
- Solar (Suntracker, new data interface, sensors, & advanced solar kit)
- Hydro (New SKY-Z Hydro, new data interface, sensors, & charging system)
- Robotics (Upgraded mini Mimsy(20 programs Bluetooth brand new APP to control Mimsy, & a grip arm.)
- 3D Printing (Filament, 3D Systems Cube 3, or Tinkerine Ditto Pro)
Q: How many will be able to attend each session this year?
A: We will be at max capacity at 24-30 teachers. (Robotics & 3D printing are starting to fill fast)
Q: Where are the sessions being held?
A: 930 Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ 07306
Q: Do I get a discount if I am coming from out of state?
A: Yes 10% off
Q: Where should I stay and how much?
A: We have a discount with the Ramada up the street but there are 50-100 motels and hotels within 30 minutes inside NYC or NJ.
Q: Do I get any special discounts for attending the STEM boot camp?
A: Yes you become a PicoTurbine Ambassador and receive a lifetime discount of 5%
Q: Are there any post workshop support.
A: Yes we are always available and all attendees can attend our monthly webinars starting in the Fall of 2015 free of charge.
Note: Our next 5 day STEM boot camp will be in the Winter 2016 but we will offer 3 day boot camps a few times over the next year.
