Maths and footy at Maths300

The popular (and newly revised) Maths300 website has two free sample lessons on Sporting Finals (in both AFL and NRL versions). It involves a real context (as the finals season approaches), considers ‘fairness’, and suits different year levels as well as mixed abilities.

You are invited to try this with your class(es) and to share feedback about experiences with Charles Lovitt or Doug Williams from Maths300.

Go to www.maths300.com/samples.htm.
