    Desktop review

The Australia Government Department of Education and Training is planning a Mathematics by Inquiry initiative. To inform the government’s thinking, AAMT was commissioned to undertake a desktop review of the evidence relating to gaps in current pedagogical approaches and learning resources for the teaching of mathematics. The paper addresses a number of questions that the Department considered relevant to their planning. It is now available at www.aamt.edu.au/Library/Other/Desktop-Review.
