Business Apprentice Challenge

Earlier this month, our Business Apprentice students went to the Beyond Food Foundation and were presented with the challenge of creating and selling their own chocolates to help raise money for the charity - as well a keen aspect of competition! They were split into two teams - 'TruffLove' and 'Truffletines'  (both focusing on the then upcoming Valentine's weekend) spending the first day of the task producing their chocolates, designing the packaging and putting it all together ready to distribute; with day two focused on one thing - sell, sell, sell!

Both teams did fantastically well and they raised £373 and £535 respectively, congratulations to team Truffletines for winning the challenge! Photos from the day can be found through the link below, but you can also find out more information about the Beyond Food Foundation on their website (http://www.beyondfood.org.uk/).

Lloyd's of London Trip

Our Professional Diploma and Business Apprentice Programme students recently visited Lloyds of London to get a taste of the insurance sector, and where better than the iconic Lloyd’s building housing the famous insurance market. Tours and talks lead by a former Underwriter and Broker with a wealth of knowledge allowed the students to find out first hand how the industry works.

Hopefully the trip has given the students some extra food for thought for their prospective career paths, and you can see some photos on the link below.

Let's Get Ready To Rumble!

Brave? Foolish? Both? Two of our team - Andy (Marketing Executive) and Jack (Events Trainer) have decided to trade in their shirts and ties for gloves and mouthguards! They will be participating in Fight Night LDN, a white collar boxing event being hosted in May.

They will both be raising money in aid of Quest's nominated charity for this year, Action for A-T. We are all looking forward to supporting them again with what promises to be a fantastic charity event following on from the previous ones, and our students are already busy fundraising and planning the event itself!

Keep an eye out for updates on the boys' training and how to get tickets to see the fights on the Facebook event: Fight Night LDN.

You can also find out more about the charity on the Action for A-T website.
