"You are more powerful than you think you are, act accordingly."

I love this quote by Seth Godin. I've heard different versions of it, and each times it gives me chills and resonates.

There's at least two different stories we can tell ourselves for each event in our life. We decide the one we tell, share, carry, nurture, and give power to.

Last week's creative challenge was meant to show that it only takes a handful of minutes per day to change the story you're telling yourself about one topic.

Here are some of the challenges some of you tackled:

- playing guitar 8 minutes every day

- taking pictures during the time spent in public transportation

- making a playlist of the music a day to share with others

- writing12 minutes per day

- writing a short story per day

- playing the keytar every day

- meditating 13 minutes every morning

I decided to make an insta video a day and edit it within 9 min. When I decided to take upon this challenge, I thought I would be editing a video, with cuts etc. I realised I actually enjoyed trying to find a 'story' to tell in an uncut shot of 15 seconds. Here is the result.

This also prompted me to write about the benefits of taking creative challenges, and how they've helped me become a better filmmaker on Raindance site.

If you've taken the challenge, don't hesitate to email me I would love to hear about your experience doing it!

'til soon,

Nathalie
