Our Executive PA Programme students enjoyed two fantastic talks from both the PA Club and Fortnum & Mason this week. After learning all about the history of Fortnum’s store and its latest product range from Corporate Account Managers’ Jemma Swift and Freya Graham, the students enjoyed sampling various tasters and were treated to a lovely goodie bag!

Our Business Apprentice students became professional traders for the day to increase their understanding of the basics of Equity trading on the London Stock Exchange. Using Bullbearings, a fantasy share-trading game that simulates the Stock Market, the students, in teams of four, ran a virtual leveraged book of £100,000. Using the virtual stock exchange platform, the students had to link their interpretation of current news articles to taking appropriate investment decisions in real-time.

All of our Executive PA and Business Apprentice Programme students spent the last two weeks of their course out on work experience placements. Students were placed in a variety of different companies such as Savills, Killik & Co, Pure PR, Condé Nast, Bell Pottinger, BDO, Knight Frank, Marsh & Parsons, Ocean Media and KPMG. Well done to everyone for working hard and applying the skills that you have developed from Quest Professional. Congratulations to those who managed to secure employment from their work experience placements.

We are looking forward to welcoming our new set of Graduate students into Quest Professional on Tuesday 8 April 2014. The students will begin a fast-paced, 12 week course designed to develop their commercial and corporate skills before they head out into the workplace. We have some exciting guest speakers and networking opportunities lined up for them and look forward to seeing them all reach their full potential during their time with us. Good Luck to you all!

As a proud sponsor of Oxted Hockey Club for the 2013-2014 season, we extremely enjoyed attending their annual end of season dinner on Saturday 29 March 2014. It was great to meet so many of the committee, members and players and we wish them all the best of luck for their next season. Thank you for our invitation!

We have been extremely busy recently visiting schools across the country. We have thoroughly enjoyed attending careers fairs at Eastbourne College, RMS, Millfield, Queens’ Bushey, Culford and Benenden School over the last couple of weeks and look forward to visiting Chigwell, Downe House and Sherborne School in the near future.
